Glenn Agung Hole, a management philosopher and Norwegian resident, calls the scenic river city of Drammen home. Just 45 kilometers from Oslo, he has forged an impressive career path alongside earning advanced degrees through diligent part-time study. His academic laurels include a Doctor of Philosophy in Management, a Master of Business Administration, an Advanced Diploma in Management System, and a Diploma in Supply Chain Management, all attained while maintaining full-time employment.

Dr. Hole advocates a profound understanding of sustainability, viewing it as a legacy for future generations and a vital symphony in tune with nature’s rhythms.

As the founder and CEO of Procuratio Consulting, he has dedicated 17 years to refining the arts of management consulting and interim management. His tenure is marked by specialization in guiding companies through critical periods of transition and change. His scholarly work is characterized by practical applications, demonstrated in dissertations that have served prominent Norwegian enterprises:

His Ph.D. thesis developed the TIPS model (Technology, Intellectual capital, Process, and Strategy).

The MBA dissertation contributed to Statkraft, Norway's state-owned energy company.

His work for the Advanced Diploma focused on Orkla Media/Edda Media, with a case study on Nabolaget/Lokal Guiden.

The Supply Chain Management Diploma research aided the National School Fruit Organization.

Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, on February 26, 1977, Glenn's life took a significant turn when he was adopted at six months by a Norwegian couple from Aalesund. Twenty years of his life have been spent in Eastern Norway, where he now resides with his family, immersing himself in haute cuisine and diverse cultures through extensive travel across Europe, parts of the USA and Canada, Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Asia.

Dr. Hole's fascination with work processes began in childhood on his family's farm, learning the value of combining human effort with technology for greater efficiency. This lesson planted the seeds for his future career in business process improvement.

Starting his career in 1995 as a supermarket electrical department group manager, he has, for the past 15 years, focused on enhancing business processes by synergizing people, processes, and technology to forge competitive edges for organizations—a triad also foundational to his TIPS model.

His experience extends to governance, having served as chairman and board member across various organizations, adept in working with both institutional and private stakeholders. Procuratio Consulting, established in 2003, reflects his expertise in management and strategy, offering services in supply chain management, distribution, logistics, procurement, and more, all rooted in his TIPS framework.

Dr. Hole's philosophy of leadership is built around six main responsibilities:

Inspiration – Recognizing and rewarding achievements to inspire commitment.

Leadership – Directing and motivating staff effectively, fostering talent within teams.

Strategic Planning – Converting vision into actionable strategies while balancing long-term and immediate needs.

Change Management – Navigating and facilitating organizational change positively and collaboratively.

Employee Development – Coaching for performance enhancement and career growth.

Self-awareness – Understanding and acknowledging one's strengths and limitations.

Under the mentorship of Bård Mikkelsen, former President & CEO of Statkraft, Dr. Hole has grown in self-awareness and leadership. His mentoring relationship, starting in 1999, was a pioneering journey into personal and professional development that has significantly shaped his career and life philosophy.
